You can file a report online through the CyberTipline . This is the primary reporting mechanism for CSAM in the United States and works with law enforcement globally.
If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police department or emergency services immediately. Important Guidelines for Reporting
It is illegal to download, possess, or distribute CSAM. Do not attempt to "investigate" the content yourself or forward it to others.
Most major platforms (such as Google, Meta, or X) have internal reporting tools. Use these in addition to the CyberTipline to ensure the content is removed from their services.
If the file is hosted on a website, social media platform, or cloud storage service, provide the exact web address (URL) in your report.
For users outside the U.S. or to report illegal content globally, use the IWF Reporting Portal .
Note down where you saw the file name and any associated usernames or metadata, but do not interact with the file further.
