The project began in 2014 and reached a significant milestone in 2020 with the launch of the dedicated research project to develop the national system.

To create a unified portal for Brazilian scientific information, enhancing visibility and interoperability of research data. cris brasil

(Ecosystem of Brazilian Scientific Research) is a national initiative managed by the Brazilian Institute for Information in Science and Technology (IBICT) . It serves as a Current Research Information System (CRIS) to aggregate and provide open access to scientific data across Brazil. The project began in 2014 and reached a
