To add or write text in (and newer versions), you can use the built-in text tools to label shapes or create independent text blocks on your canvas. How to Write Text in EdrawMax
Go to the tab on the ribbon and click the Text button (or press Ctrl + 2 ). Click and drag on the canvas to draw a text box. Type your text inside the box.
Right-click anywhere on the drawing page and select Add Text from the context menu.
