Jun (played by Kwon Sang-woo) was once the "Elite Assassin" for South Korea's National Intelligence Service (NIS). Longing for a normal life, he fakes his death during a mission by jumping from a helicopter into a stormy sea.

The film was a commercial success in South Korea, surpassing 1 million moviegoers in just five days.

Fifteen years later, Jun is a failing webtoon artist married with a teenage daughter. After his latest work is canceled due to poor reviews, he gets drunk and draws a new webtoon based on his real life as a superspy.

It is noted for its unique blend of live-action and animated sequences used to illustrate the webtoon segments.

His wife accidentally publishes the webtoon online. It becomes an instant viral hit, but it also reveals classified information that alerts both the NIS and a vengeful terrorist group from his past, who realize he is still alive.
