Following a gap year in Australia that sparked her interest in automotive engineering, Müller completed her Bachelor's and Master's degrees at the Technical University of Munich . Before joining Formula 1, she developed a broad background in racing, including roles in Formula Renault 2.0, Stock Car Brasil, the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), and the DTM, where she engineered for Sophia Flörsch .

Joining Haas in 2022, she worked in the simulator department and as a performance engineer before being promoted to race engineer by team principal Ayao Komatsu for the 2025 season.
