Turn the fabric over to the right side. Start at the bottom, stitching up one side of the zipper, turning at the top, and coming back down on the other side.
Use Wonder Tape or pins to secure the zipper tape to the seam allowance. lb.zip
Switch to a basting stitch (long, temporary stitch) to close the remaining opening, and press the entire seam allowance open. Installation: Setting the Zipper Turn the fabric over to the right side
Once secure, carefully remove the basting stitches in the middle of the seam to reveal the zipper. Finishing Touches Switch to a basting stitch (long, temporary stitch)
Press the edges of the fabric where the zipper will be installed to create sharp, clean edges.
If needed, create secure bottom stops by stitching across the zipper teeth multiple times to prevent the pull from coming off.
Pin the fabric pieces right-sides together and sew from the bottom up to the marked point where the zipper opening begins using a regular stitch.
