Molti suoi libri sono nati da dialoghi: con Antonio Debenedetti, Dacia Maraini, Raffaele La Capria, Antonio Tabucchi, di cui ha curato Viaggi e altri viaggi (Feltrinelli 2010), e Nanni Moretti.
