WayForward returned to a high-definition, hand-drawn look that feels like a playable cartoon. The game features:

The Seven Sirens introduces several key gameplay shifts that differentiate it from previous titles like Half-Genie Hero:

Defeated enemies occasionally drop cards. Players can equip these to gain passive buffs, such as increased movement speed, faster magic regeneration, or stronger attacks.

Shantae and the Seven Sirens is the fifth installment in the beloved platforming series developed by WayForward. Released in 2020, it revitalizes the "Metroidvania" roots of the franchise while introducing modern mechanics and a gorgeous hand-drawn art style. The game follows the half-genie Shantae as she visits a tropical island for a Half-Genie Festival, only to find herself embroiled in a mystery involving the disappearance of her peers and a sinister plot brewing beneath the waves. 🏝️ A Tropical Mystery

The music maintains the series' signature "Middle Eastern fusion" vibe, though it leans more heavily into techno and upbeat synth-pop to match the island theme. 🎮 Why It Stands Out

The game shifts the setting from Scuttle Town to Arena Town on a massive, interconnected island. Shantae meets a group of new Half-Genies, each with unique elemental powers. When these girls are suddenly kidnapped during a stage performance, Shantae must explore the island’s depths to rescue them and uncover the secrets of the "Seven Sirens"—monstrous bosses ruling the sunken ruins. 🧜‍♀️ New Mechanics and Abilities

Shantae still dances, but these moves are now used to interact with the environment—lighting up dark rooms, revealing hidden objects, or healing the flora. 🎨 Visuals and Sound

Produced by the famous Studio TRIGGER (known for Kill la Kill and Little Witch Academia ), the opening and key sequences are vibrant and high-energy.

Composers are grouped in 6 pages: A-B; C-F; G-L; M-O; P-R; S-Z . J.-S. Bach ,  A. Barrios Mangore , N. Coste , M. Giuliani , F. Sor and F. Tarrega are on their own page

Note to MIDI sequence contributors

Your submissions are welcomed.  Please send them by e-mail (end of text)Pieces should bear the composer's name and be properly identified.(ex.: J.K. Mertz (1806-1856) Nocturne Op.4 No.2.). The submissions should bear information on the transcriber or arranger when available. The submitter's name will appear beside the accepted submission.

This site exists primarily to showcase pieces written for the classical guitar. Established and recognized transcriptions and arrangements (e.g., Tarrega, Segovia,..) of pieces written by non-guitar composers will also be given high priority.

New compositions for the classical guitar are also welcomed.  New compositions that meet quality guidelines will be added to the site. For new contributors, it would be appreciated if you would also submit several pieces by known composers in addition to your own compositions.  This will help to expand the repertoire of established works for the classical guitar in addition to expanding the repertoire of new music.
